The Municipality Asset Register is a systematic record of all movable and immovable assets owned by, under the control of, maintained by, or transferred to the Changanasseri  Municipality. The properties and infrastructure of the municipality are categorized in this register under ten main divisions: land, buildings, roads, bylanes, culverts and bridges, drinking water, irrigation, electricity, solid waste management, and movable assets.

The Asset Register serves as a key tool for the identification, protection, valuation, accounting, maintenance, monitoring, and efficient utilization of the municipality's assets. It assists the municipality in planning development and maintenance activities, ensuring the proper upkeep and utilization of public assets, facilitating statutory audits, and strengthening a transparent and accountable local self-governance system.
